Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) is governed by a Board of Directors whose members include representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and oil & gas industry experts.

MPRC is wholly committed to fostering growth and resilience, while also supporting the sector’s sustainability goals, in line with Malaysia’s commitment to pivot to cleaner sources of energy and a high-value green economy.

We support OGSE ecosystem players by bridging the gap between government and market requirements, while also facilitating cross-industry collaborations and empowering OGSE companies to embrace agility and thrive in the global economy.

The MPRC’s Senior Leadership Team consists of professionals who have served in both Government and private sector roles. Supervised by MPRC’s Board of Directors, the Senior Leadership Team is responsible for identifying and delivering initiatives to improve the competitiveness of the local Oil and Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) sector and strengthening Malaysia’s position as a regional OGSE hub.

MPRC’s Industry Advisory Panel (IAP) is made up of industry leaders representing captains of industry in their various fields. The IAP serves an important role as a core industry interaction point with the Government, and in highlighting industry relevant issues. IAP members support MPRC in the following areas:

• Acting as a sounding board for MPRC’s initiatives
• Facilitating exchange of information and ideas between OGSE industry players and the Government
• Providing MPRC with feedback and recommendations on talent retention and OGSE financing
• Acting as early adopters and champions for MPRC initiatives, particularly in technology and collaboration
