The Growth Beyond OGSE (GBO) Programme is an initiative by MPRC under the National OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021-2030 and 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13), designed to support the diversification of Malaysian Oil & Gas Services and Equipment (OGSE) companies into high-growth industries beyond traditional oil and gas, in line with Malaysia’s national economic agenda.
By leveraging existing industry capabilities and expertise, the programme aims to accelerate participation in energy transition and green economy opportunities, while strengthening the long-term resilience and competitiveness of Malaysia’s OGSE ecosystem.
Created to support OGSE companies undertaking projects that enable expansion into energy transition and green economy segments. The grant serves as a catalyst for companies seeking to develop new capabilities, enter emerging markets, establish strategic partnerships, and pursue opportunities aligned with Malaysia's energy transition agenda.
The GBO Grant supports projects that drive business diversification into sectors aligned with Malaysia’s energy transition and green economy aspirations.
