Dato' Indera Abu Bakar Yusof

Dato’ Indera Abu Bakar Yusof is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). He brings with him over 30 years of extensive experience in international trade and export promotion, built through a long and distinguished career with MATRADE as well as valuable exposure at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, a Government-Linked Company (GLC).

Dato’ Indera Abu Bakar began his career as a Statistician in1993, where he developed a strong foundation in data analysis, strategic planning, and policy support. Over the years, he progressed through various senior and leadership roles within MATRADE, contributing significantly to Malaysia’s export development and promotion initiatives.
