Industry Talent Framework (InTAF)

The Industry Talent Framework (InTAF) is an initiative co-developed by Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC), the Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC), and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) to bridge talent gaps by consolidating activity-driven demand data, establishing productivity norms, and aligning talent supply pipelines with industry needs.

Acknowledging persistent gaps in reliable talent data and workforce insights, InTAF was introduced during the 2024 mid-term review under the talent pillar of the National OGSE Industry Blueprint 2021–2030.

The framework aims to address key talent planning challenges in the OGSE industry by providing a clear view of talent supply and demand, enabling better project planning and sequencing to avoid not only shortages but also surpluses, ensuring a balanced and efficient workforce.
